Network Relations Research (NRR) is an alternative research consulting firm that specializes in providing information to private equity firms and hedge funds on regulatory affairs, legislative events and public policy which affect the value of their businesses across all sectors.  The company’s resources draw on over thirty years combined experience from the White House, Capitol Hill and state Governments on both sides of the aisle.  This enables NRR to deliver new, unique, and in-depth insights into the nexus of the public and private sectors. 

Our Services: NRR provides financial institutions with information about how public policy – primarily legislative and regulatory events – affects the value of their investments.  We offer this research through three methods:

1. Public Policy Experts:  NRR has a wide network of public policy experts at the state and federal levels, including leading political consultants, lobbyists, attorneys, think tanks, and former staff from all three branches across all public policy areas..  We connect clients with these experts for in-depth interviews.

2. Original Research:  NRR also uses its network of public policy experts to conduct its own research for clients in the form of a policy reports. 

3. Survey of Washington’s Policy Elite:  NRR has developed the DC Insiders Database, a proprietary and confidential database of the most influential opinion shapers within the DC media market.  We have detailed information on each individual – their political affiliation, their policy areas and issues, where they get their information, their employment and many demographics.  We are able to survey this group on public policy matters via phone or internet to get detailed answers for our clients.
